Due to filming commitments, Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon are currently separated by a 20-hour time difference – a challenge that is significantly affecting their relationship.
Since 2022, Brad Pitt, 61, and Ines de Ramon, 32, have been navigating life together. Initially, they kept their relationship out of the public eye, but in September 2024, the actor and the jewelry designer made their red carpet debut at the Venice Film Festival. Just seven months later, however, dark clouds seem to have appeared on their love horizon.
Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon Are Separated by Over 10,000 Kilometers
“Brad is fighting to keep the love alive,” an insider revealed to the Daily Mail in early April 2025. The Oscar winner has been in New Zealand since mid-February, filming the survival movie Heart of the Beast. In the action thriller, Pitt portrays a former Army Special Forces soldier struggling to survive in the Alaskan wilderness after a plane crash.

This doesn’t appear to be the only battle the Hollywood star is currently facing. While Pitt is filming in Queenstown, his partner remains in Los Angeles—11,452 kilometers (over 7,100 miles) away. The couple must now navigate a 20-hour time difference.
Fear of a Love Crisis? Hollywood Star Showers His Girlfriend with Gifts
Apparently, Pitt fears losing his connection with de Ramon. In response, he is “doing everything he can to make Ines happy,” the insider continued. “That means flying her out to New Zealand to visit him and spoiling her with special surprises and gifts.” The source added, “He’s really in love with her and wants to keep the relationship as strong as possible.”
Pitt deeply values his relationship with Ines de Ramon, who was married to The Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley, 42, from 2018 until February 2024. The film star reportedly enjoys being with a woman who is not an actress because “there’s no competition,” the source explained. Both Pitt and de Ramon are pursuing their own careers while supporting each other rather than getting in each other’s way.
The question remains: how much longer will the designer be willing to put her own life on hold for her Hollywood partner?
