Jude Law, 52, and Sadie Frost, 59, divorced over 20 years ago. However, for the London-born actress, it was one of the most defining moments of her life. The separation from one of the most sought-after stars in the film industry took a significant toll on her, as she admitted on the podcast My Life in a Biscuit Tin.
Sadie Frost “Had Very Low Self-Esteem”
Reflecting on the early 2000s, the now 59-year-old said: “I had very low self-esteem.” The intense media attention surrounding her private life had a negative impact on her well-being. “It really knocked me down when I went through a very terrible, public divorce,” the actress explained.
The thought of what people might think about her and her failing marriage consumed her. “It took me a long time to stop caring about what people think,” Frost admitted. Now, she says she is not only “truly happy and content” but also able to go through life with confidence.

Although her marriage to the The Holiday star ended, Jude Law and his ex-wife will always be connected. Their son, Rafferty Law, 28, was born before their wedding in 1997. In 2000, they welcomed their daughter, Iris, now 24. A year before their divorce, in 2002, their second son, Rudy Law, 22, was born.
Since her separation from the British actor, Sadie Frost has never remarried. “Since I stopped being with someone, I’ve grown so much more,” she confessed. She always felt the need to “keep her partner happy” in a relationship—something she is no longer willing to do, except for her children. “At the end of the day, I want to wake up at five in the morning and do my yoga,” the designer explained.
