Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, appear to have enjoyed a few relaxing days in Porthmadog, Wales, as suggested by a recent Instagram post from the real estate developer.

On January 29, 2025, Buckingham Palace announced wonderful news: Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 41, and Princess Beatrice, 36, have become parents again! “Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter, Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi, who was born on Wednesday, January 22, at 12:57 PM,” read the official statement from the Royal Family’s account, accompanying the first photo of the newborn taken by proud father Edo.

On March 6, the new mother of two made her first public appearance since giving birth, attending the glamorous Wonderland Gala in London alongside her husband. During the event, her new, significant role was also announced: Beatrice is the new patron of “Borne,” a medical research charity dedicated to ending premature births.

It has been an eventful few weeks for the couple—one reason why the family recently took a short trip to Porthmadog, Wales, as suggested by a new Instagram post from Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. “Fancy a trip to magical North Wales @wernholidaycottages,” the 41-year-old wrote on Friday, March 21, alongside a series of pictures taken at a beautiful country house in the coastal town and its surroundings.

The snapshots include a breathtaking view of Moel y Gest mountain, dolphins swimming in the bay, and glimpses of the antique furniture and artwork inside the 14th-century manor house. Edoardo’s mother, Nikki Williams-Ellis, and his stepfather, David Williams-Ellis, are also seen enjoying a cup of tea on the terrace against a stunning backdrop.

It seems that Princess Beatrice, together with her daughters, husband, and in-laws, took a well-deserved break in a family setting. The “Wern Holiday Cottages” are owned by Nikki Williams-Ellis, David Williams-Ellis, and his son Jack from his previous marriage to interior designer Serena Williams-Ellis. The holiday rental business consists of seven luxurious cottages on the private Wern estate between Porthmadog and Criccieth.
